Carthay Manhattan served with the clearest ice sphere I’ve ever seen!! Apparently made with triple distilled water to remove all impurities. Made with Bulliet Bourbon which can sometimes overwhelm a Manhattan but with Jess’ well practiced hand this might be the best I’ve ever tasted. All finished with 3 luxardo gourmet maraschino cherries. The Carthay is appointed with luxury adornments and feels like a classy establishment from the 1940s. You can completely forget that you’re in a Disney resort. Rich mahogany, tan leather seats and geometric light fixtures and faux candles. Very solid wine list and variety of California craft brews and a focus on the cocktail list. Bar lounge and waiting area. Awesome glassware.
